CAPC Auxiliary Members
The Child Abuse Prevention Council Auxiliary has, since our very beginnings, been the “glue” that has held the Council together through thick and thin. This dedicated group of volunteers, two hundred strong, contributes their talent and hard work to every effort the Council becomes involved in and annually takes on a special project dedicated solely to First Step Children’s Center. CAPCA holds two fun social functions every year in addition to their annual Founder’s Day Luncheon and annual Installation Luncheon. CAPCA members receive discounts at all CAPC events. Time commitment: a little or a lot.
Annually, the CAPC Auxiliary takes advantage of opportunity to serve as volunteers at the San Joaquin County Asparagus Festival. Festival volunteers earn time credits for service that financially benefit CAPC programs. It’s an enjoyable way to spend a weekend in service to children in our community.
