24-hour Crisis Line: 464.4524
Need parenting advice, questions on child abuse or prevention, or referrals to community resources? Our Crisis Line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Crisis/Respite Child Care - Karina Lua: 644.5321
Center-based, crisis/respite childcare for families at risk of child abuse or neglect. Also available, is on-call childcare for families in need of childcare assistance to facilitate participation and access to other resources (counseling, court appearances, classes, etc.)

Available at Central Stockton and Weston Ranch campus'.

Fee: Sliding fee scale based on gross monthly income and family size.

Supervised Visits - Hope Brand: 644.5347
When a family situation requires visits with one or both parents to be supervised, there are few locations and services to assist that parent in providing a warm, meaningful, and safe visit. Our supervised visits program provides an unbiased, child friendly venue for families to bond and strengthen. Court reports submitted as required.

Supervised visits Include:
  • One-on-one supervision – Each family has its own monitor.
  • A child friendly environment with both indoor and outdoor activities.
  • A safe and welcoming environment for all members of the family.

Fee: $35.00 Hourly (2 hr Min)

Safe Exchange - Hope Brand: 644.5347
A difficult divorce, a parent with border-line or abusive behaviors, or other circumstances may require parents to use a neutral location for exchanging custody of their children.

Our service provides
  • A child-centered exchange point. A safe and unbiased environment for all members of the family

Fee: $20.00 per exchange

Parent Coaching - Sue Winslow:  644.5320
One-on-One coaching on parenting for parents of children with challenging behaviors. Services takes place in-home and at the CAPC.

Family Strengthening - Dora Ceja: 644.5328
Multi-faceted program targeting families at-risk of abuse and domestic violence due to financial crisis posed by economic climate.

Services include:
  • Crisis/respite child care
  • Family Case Management
  • Individual adult therapy
  • Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT)
  • Referrals to resources

Therapeutic services for children, teens and families.

  • Adults suffering with dual diagnosis, substance abuse and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). Gender-based groups.

CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - Sue Winslow: 644.5320
The CASA Program endeavors to ensure that abused, neglected and abandoned children who have become dependents of the San Joaquin County Court will have a safe and permanent home. Through a network of trained advocates, CASA of San Joaquin County will work closely with the Court, Human Service Agency, the child's legal counsel and community agencies to identify and protect the best interests of each child in the consideration of recommending permanent placement for the child.

School Readiness Programs - Kesi Fields: 644.5341
This multi-faceted program offers a broad range of services to families with preschoolers. Priority is given to families with in Fremont, El Dorado, and Pittman school areas, or homeless status. This program is fully funded by First 5 of San Joaquin.

Our no cost services include:
  • Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds
  • English as a 2nd language classes for adults
  • Family Case Management
  • Home visits for participating families
  • Kindergarten Camps

D.R.A.C. Differential Response Assessment Case Management - Sue Winslow: 644.5320
Promoting safe and stable families, this program is part of a larger county-wide child welfare improvement plan.

Our Differential Response services include

Access to a network of donors interested in assisting victims of unfortunate events, with a focus on meeting children's needs.
Donations include funds and in-kind goods and services.
